Had a good time working for FFV and their summer sevens program , got to spend the day watching soccer and talking to a lot of people. Work load was easy to manage as it was only 1 day a week but it was a good way to earn some extra money.

Good team environment and you get a lot of advice and wisdom from others
Able to get positive and constructive feedback on your refereeing and you are able to implicate this advice in your next game

Refereeing with FFV can be both challenging and rewarding. Being a referee requires a strong mind and strong personality, have to be able to think quickly and be fair, however with good pay it makes it very rewarding,

It was good there, I always had to arrive on time and go through match books and handle dealing with players coaches and parents with a calm and professional manner

I had a wonderful experience with my peers and bosses, my refereeing career was fast tracked due to the fact I was female and they wished to promote women in the game (which I have nothing but support for) my only issue was actually refereeing games. I worked there as a young teenager and the regular abuse I experienced from the parents and players on the field was detrimental for my self esteem and I had to quit to save my mental health. Other than that I have extremely fond memories of my time there.
