disheartening traumatic experience. Very little communication No professionalism

Typical day was cleaning washing mopping and walking boarders.I learnt that this industry is not what I had expected. Staff not welcoming, really busy, burnt out and disrespectful and rude to each other (and to me as well) and this sometimes also flowed on to the level of animal care unfortunately. I've worked at several Greencross Clinics and enjoy it thoroughly

Being a corporate you have job security and heaps of add on benefits like discount gift cards to heaps of major retail out lets, great continuing education program that's included in employment and s major conference on the gold coast each year. My team is pretty fantastic too, they are passionate about stamping out bullies and promoting good mental health.

Avoid

Highly underpaid, had to go to fair work to get paid correctly. Would try not to pay overtime and take advantage of trainee staff/student staff. Condescending upper management. Told us to effectively harass customers to meet KPIs.

Head Office needs an overhaul

There is so much to be said about the poor management from Head Office. There is clearly no communication and no direction or stability within so you can imagine what and how things gets filtered down. Someone really needs to look in to the way this business is being run before there is no business left. There is a constant walk out of staff members all of which are leaving for the same reasons...
