24 questions about working at Guzman Y Gomez
I'm not sure about the other stores. But I was interviewed by the store manager and restaurant manager. My experience was good. They were both really nice and asked about my availabilities, my hobbies, my experience and why I wanted to work there.

Answered 11 May 2020Smile and be calm. Trust me I know the process, it's nerve-wracking. But soon, it will be over. Just make sure you know your information about GYG and yourself. They ask you questions on your hobbies, availabilities and why you want to work there. Dress smart casual and be the best you that you can be.

Answered 2 December 2018The pace of work can be very quick, often you'll be doing five different jobs in five minutes. You'll make an order, fill up rice, clean the floors while taking an order on drive thru, and take a customers order in five minutes. During the quiet periods, you enjoy talking to people and having a cup of water.
Answered 8 March 2021It honestly depends on the situation. If the mistake that you did was bad, the feedback would be harsh but if it's a minor mistake then it's less severe. I have worked in the hospitality industry for a while and it's not just GYG that delivers harsh criticism and feedback towards their co-workers/employees. Sometimes, you just have to toughen up and keep going. Trust me, I'm sensitive. I have cried multiple times since starting because I cant take the heat. But i just remind myself why I'm there and that I'm stronger than what they say/or think of me.
