Cashier in Bondi Junction NSW
on 6 April 2021
Trial by fire.
Very dynamic and fast paced environment. Lots of back stabbing and snaking amongst staff due to wage structure. Commissions were the only way you could make above average. And just making average wage made you a target for being fired. They expect a lot from you in the store. Burn out happens a lot to people who work there.
Carpet Layer in Riverwood NSW
on 13 March 2021
Great place moved from warehouse to carpet layer.
It was many tasks finding stock in a massive warehouse then it led me into the way of a sub contractor carpet layer. It was a great job I worked with Jerry Harvey’s wife’s son it was a great job

Even when your doing well you can be replaced
Constantly reminded there is someone better to replace you.kpi's linked to commission force other staff to take your sales. No teamwork. You can never have the customer in mind, you have to take all they have.No shame
Sales Consultant in Balgowlah NSW

Competitive, not collaborative atmosphere
The way the different departments are structured within the company means everyone is focussed on getting the sale, not customer service. Commission structures also mean the sales staff are unwilling to help each other, resulting in poor communication & ultimately, bad customer service
Office Administrator in Upper Mount Gravatt QLD
on 9 January 2021
If you are one minute late expect a message asking if you are coming in
The job was advertised as customer service/office admin but there was no customer service at all. It was just processing accounts and nothing else. The manager that hired me just did not like me. I couldn’t do anything right. I was a few minutes late and apparently spoke too loud and my 30 minute break was closely monitored.
