Flexible

I work for HCA as a second casual nursing job. Pretty flexible, usually there are shifts available but it is quite heavily taxed. I wish they covered some of the cost of parking at facilities too! Good service on the phone and easy to reach someone on the phone if there are any issues.

Pretty cruisy job. Downside is management can be very hit and miss. Culture and people are pretty great. Lots of after hours/weekend work if you are looking for extra work.

"First, I suggest never joining this company, as you will hardly get a shift. If they decide to create a roster for you, they might schedule you on dates when you are unavailable. Furthermore, they do not provide shifts equally among staff. You will hardly get notification after so many request to them. You would be wasting your time in interviews, even though they may seem promising. The interview experience might be positive, leading you to believe the company is great, but in reality, it is not. Therefore, I recommend exploring opportunities with other companies

Relaxed days at work with set goals and objectives to be met,flexibility with schedule in order to have work/life balance and good,kind and cooperative clients to work with and assist.The most enjoyable part of the job is to see how appreciative the clients are of the assistance provided,it makes you feel that you are making a difference in a positive manner and giving a positive life experience to someone.

What is the best part of working at the company?All day to day aspects of the job, e.g., availability, scheduling and reporting, are accessed through the wonderful HCA app on your mobile phone. What is the most stressful part about working at the company?Shifts can still be allocated even if you have marked your shift unavailable. Meaning it is up to you to phone and confirm your unavailability. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?Wonderful. In the sixteen months I have worked here, I have felt nothing but supported.

Annoying and act like the only place I work for

Poor communication, never call to keep you updated. don’t respect that you have other commitments and like to roster amongst the other commitments so it all clashes. Never notify you of a shift and if you’re actually available to work it and expect you to show up. Cancelling shifts at last minute and not notifying you. Not professional.

Good place to work If you need extra cash or If you don't want to work in the same hospital. Only down side is your shifts get cancelled a lot due to Hospitals over booking agency staff and not needing them. Literally ad my shift cancelled 3 min before cut off time.

Great app to book in shifts

Problem never solved out

Very stressful, lack of shifts, and when they get new employees, the people who have been working there for longer get their shifts cut. And communication on where to go and what to is always last minute.
