Support worker

I left the company because I wasn't paid for driving from one client to the next. Pay was very low at that time, and only casual positions were available. The atmosphere at the company was very good.

Very bad working experience/HenderCare Adelaide

Former Support Worker HenderCare are renown for underpaying staff. Employees have to thoroughly check their payslips. Constantly heard co workers complain of this issue. Unpaid travel, pay for your own gloves, masks, worktop, training, phone and usage etc.There are so many better companies to work for that will appreciate you and give you great support, variety, better pay & not put your safety at risk. Workers are just a number to this family owned business.

Lack of communication between staff and carers

The Perth branch leaves a lot to be desired for. No carer support. Lack of communication no empathy No client information before arriving. Do not take clients into consideration.

No opportunities for growth

Only casual positions available unless you want to earn minimum wage and go to part time employment - you have to work for hendercare for over a year to be offered a contract. Hours are always up and down - never guaranteed. Very high turn over. Office treat on floor workers appallingly
