12 hour days for no pay

junior positions passed off to contractors and people nerfed to part-time or driven out if they had been there more then a year. using bullying tactics.

i liked working there it was convenient and very flexible hours which was good because i have 2 kids that go to school so i had to work within their means

The most money-minded and selfish staff, supervisor and managers. Cost cutting is the strategy. Rush all the time. No appreciation or respect. Only thing good was work-life balance and good pay.

productive but hard working enviroment

typical day at work for me is strippping and the making of beds, cleaning bathrooms and cleaning general rooms. ive learnt that you have to have patience and a good work ethic, you also need to be fairly strong and capable of working within time frames. the hardest part to my job is adjusting from working at other motels and trying to catch all the tips and tricks while working. the most enjoyable part of my job would have to be accomplishing all my rooms within the time frame given, also knowing that I am pleasing someone else with the cleanliness of their room.

Need very hard work

Job duties are easy but sometimes the staff environment was not comfortable when as a new trainee. Training staff is very helpful although.but still enjoyable journey.

budget control cause everyday over working loading. under pressure team work flexible working hours we ask for fix timetables most time I was called in for work each week at least 2 times

Hardworking Team with a good Teamworking ethic

A typical day working at hillton involved alot of contact with guests which I loved! Love talking to new people and hearing about the fun adventures! I can say my co-workers and I worked extremely hard but we all made it possible with team work and the encouragement of eachother! big ups to Hilton Lake Taupo
