It's support work. You find your people and friends are made. Hireup are supportive of clients and staff.

Arguably the best platform for support work
Hireup gives choice to both their participants receiving support and their support workers providing support. Support workers are casual or part time employees, not contractors.As a support worker, I can choose which shifts to apply for and meet with participants before we both decide to proceed with shifts so that their needs can best be met. It's less than OK, but...
You need to chase work if you want to be busy, lots of people in my area- no one actively seeking supports.Had a participant harrasing me via the app, no one at hireup was there to help me stop this person from contacting me for 3 days- I left after that. No support from the office at all.

Supportive and good pay
The main downside is that it feels like you're working for yourself. It can be difficult to build up clients but once you do it's great. It would be good to know more colleagues.
