Good Company

It’s good in some parts but the people tea is disjointed and have issues between the teams. Overall good company but people need to focus on their own work before targeting others.

Fun culture in other teams

Culture is very team specific, management don’t hold to the values of the company. The facilities are great and people are friendly dependant on what team you are working in.

Pros

Other teams And facilities

Cons

Management, remuneration for hours expected to work and development opportunities are low

Good people, interesting job

Whilst working here I had great people around me who had the right balance of working hard but also knew how to have fun. My whole team was great and, despite the steep learning curve placed upon us as temporary hires to deal with large influxes of new insurance claims, I enjoyed the job after a first few stressful weeks getting to grips with the job.

Pros

Overtime on saturdays, good people, nice office, rewarding work

Cons

1.5 hour commute (my decision), steep initial learning curve

A productive and welcoming workplace with great understandings of individuals

Most enjoyable times are when we would go into meetings to review our previous days and also have a nice chat and laugh. always need to be quick on getting on the phones and helping the customer efficiently and completing the task set for the day when it is possible. All task can be completed if the your time is managed correctly and which is what i did most of the times and got all my task completed majority of the times. overall working there was a wonderful experience.

Fun, challenging work place

My daily requirements was delivering excellent customer service inbound and outbound calls to frustrated customers submitting vehicle claims. I processed insurance claims and was delegated my own claims for me to follow up to ensure they were handled correctly and finalised.

A great place to work

You will not find a better environment to work in than IAG. Work/Life balance is paramount to the overall culture, and they really do treat their staff well. I've found them very open to promoting from within, and team culture is very important to the way they operate

Great Bonus and training incentives

Great bonus and training incentives. Has built a strong secondment culture which has it's good and bad points such as the chance to try a variety of jobs however small structure changes can have a tack on effect and displace a lot of people as it travels down the secondment pipeline. The training is great and IAG have made this a priority moving forward. I worry that a lot of people who had been through the training felt over qualified and started getting restless as there were little management positions opening up versus the amount of employees being upskilled.

Pros

Training

Cons

No where to move up
