Fun supportive workplace
Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant (Current Employee) - New South Wales - 12 July 2021
I have loved my time at IPAR. I have always felt suppotive and everyday is something new so I am never bored. While the job is not for everyone it definitely has room for consultants to specialise into different schemes depending on what they want. You plan your own day so it's flexible and the people are amazing.
Pros
Flexibility, health and wellness activities, bonuses, people
Cons
Can become overwhelming if you don't manage your work properly

Very stressful environment with unrealistic expectations
Provisional Psychologist (Former Employee) - Hobart TAS - 28 February 2020
Very stressful environment with unrealistic expectations. Poor focus on clients, rather monetary goals of insurers is prioritised. Management appear to have poor understanding of work life balance and what constitutes a manageable caseload. Further, management enforce unrealistic expectations which create a stressful culture and poor relationships

Poor work culture - not very welcoming to new people
Job Placement Coordinator (Former Employee) - Bendigo VIC - 13 February 2020
Not a great experience due to the culture in the local office. Very clicky and not welcoming, made it very difficult to engage.
Work itself was enjoyable and rewarding....just have to survive the other stat members.
Pros
Clients and rewarding work
Cons
Office culture

Productive and supportive work environment
Occupational rehabilitation Specialist (Current Employee) - Tamworth, NSW - 2 December 2014
I loved working for Ipar. Great team, always supportive. Hardest part of the job was the travelling, and the most enjoyable was the opportunity to conduct a variety of assessments, including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Ergonomic Assessments, Initial and Workplace Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments.
