Therapeutic work with traumatised children under guardianship orders

Flexible shifts offered at a number of different houses, children usually between the ages of 5-18, some sibling group houses. Team meetings held every 2 weeks provides workers with opportunity to come together to discuss supports and strategies re caring for children.

Poor support from management

Was Property Manager for 5years. Peers were great, but management had no idea of what we went thru out in the field eg tenant inspections, and sometimes the danger & threats from some tenants.

Unfair treatment by management

Unfairly dismissed for taking time off that was pre-approved by management months in advance. While I was away on "approved" time off, management changed their minds and fired me via text for not being available. It was unfair because it was already known I would be unavailable on the specific dates.

I was only a student here not a paid employee. Junction Australia is however and excellent company with incredible passionate staff i enjoyed my time there.
