Flexible work place, poor communication

JBC is a great place to work if you're looking for a flexible role. You have the choice to pick up as much or as little shifts as you like, and can choose to set regular shifts while picking up extra ones if you choose. Only problems are the poor communciation between the office staff and support workers, which they are trying to fix by adding extra roles. Pay is also average.

Great management,office staff very friendly and helpful. Manager care about her staff and was always willing to listen and help her staff in times of needs

On the decline - Communication/Customer service

Had joined this company with high hopes, as I had similar views with their mission statement and company culture. Regrettably in recent times things have changed, more so in the last 2 years as feedback from customers I work with seem to have experience the same things. Primarily rostering and communication issues - i.e. lack of updating customers with recent changes (big problem), telling the customers what they want to do rather than listening to what the customer wants, unfulfilled commitments, leaving customers I work with, with an ever-increasing frustration, leaving them no choice but to migrate elsewhere. This is very unfortunate... Also believe the customers have also suffered due to rapid expansion; and lack of staff and or quality staff to cater accordingly as a result.

Love my job! They've treated me well. Should always be about the customer.

at Just Better Care has provided me with Working as part of the care team, using a holistic approach, to look at every aspect of our clients’ care ,

I have recently completed a Certificate III in Aged Care and Individual Support through Care College that has provided me with a good understanding of good patient care practices. This included manual handling, Dementia and Parkinson support, Infection Control procedures and processes, and effective communication between the patient, other health professionals, family and community. At current I am working as Community support worker at Just Better Care has provided me with Working as part of the care team, using a holistic approach, to look at every aspect of our clients’ care ,Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalized care plans & Reporting in a timely manner on all complaints and incidents

Understanding and very caring of their clients and staff

Understanding and very caring of their clients and staff. They have a great workplace culture. And an excellent understanding of their clients needs. I really loved working work with the elderly.

Excellent place to work

Every day is different you don't who you are going to have for the day or where you are going travel which is part of the reason I love working there. Sometime you have up to 5 to 6 clients a day or you could have perm clients. I learn so much about myself and learn so much from my clients. I did not offering work with co-worker but when I did they were very caring and passion with their work. Management was great. Every supported toward her staffs, easy to talk to and very caring about staff safety. I enjoy all parts of my job and meet so many amazing people

Across our network many staff enjoy working flexible hours to suit their lifestyle. Our Coordinators carefully match staff with clients based on individual client preferences, staff preferences, staff skills and client needs. Many staff do enjoy full rosters and regular hours; however it may take time to achieve the desired number of hours based on client needs and client preferences. You will be pleased to hear we now offer an extensive range of staff development programs to support professional development, career development and growth.
