Whilst the clients are delightful there is no job security employed as a casual. A lot expected of the staff and communication from the top could be a lot better.

Across Just Better Care we do offer a number of casual opportunities to ensure our workforce is flexible to meet changing customer needs. We understand this does not suit everyone. However, we do offer permanent opportunities as well and have many long term staff members who enjoy regular hours with clients. Didn't care about clients at all

JBC was not a great company to work for - they are the only company I know that pays no travel time or kms traveled. They also showed little care for their clients - sometimes not even knowing when the client was in hospital. They were all about chasing new clients

I started originally completely changing fields of work, staff were supportive and encouraging.With ongoing training I completed Certificate III Individualised Support and Certificate IV Disability They helped me achieve this by working while I studied Their staff are friendly and competent

Fun, always there

Typical day: Sign in on your app, do covid screenings, and help out your clients, log out and send in a report. The office staff are poliet, kid and always helpful. They will text, call or email you with more shifts that have become available.You get a bag with all essential PPE and can go into the office at any stage to collecte more

Working for Just Better Care is a good experience. The tasks that I do for the clients are not hard. I am gaining a good salary here. The team members are good and approachable as well.

While the job is rewarding, the hours are very unreliable and unpredictable. If you are looking for a long career, this won't be it. Many people work more than two jobs to make up the hours.

While we do our best to match staff availability & preferences with the needs of our customers, it can prove challenging at times. Many staff do enjoy working up to 38 hours a week with regular customers and enjoy flexible working hours, however the nature of our industry means that we may not always be able to match preferred hours of staff with customers. Treat their staff like dirt and don't pay travel costs

This company treat their staff like dirt and have a culture of bullying. Don't support staff when customers swear at staff and verbally abuse them. The company do not pay transport costs. So you end up working five days a week for only about 15 hours pay.
