CHSP Coordinator/Home Support Package in Port Macquarie NSW

Very busy but rewardinglong hours which you had to do as you had your own base, was hard to ask for help, management in Sydney were very nice, culture was work and work, the hardest part of the job was listening to elderly clients getting upset during their homestay in COVID 2020. Lovely to still hear from my clients over a year after leaving.

Not the company I thought it was...Majority of shifts are cleaning. Some days they might give you only a 1 hour shift. A company with high turnover of staff. A few managers & HCW’s had left in the first 6 months.Staff are promised lots of work at the beginning but dwindles as they hire new staff.Low paying. You need to keep an eye on payslips and make sure you’re getting paid properly - I had to chase up my pay fortnightly as was not paid properly. Lots of driving, you start feeling fatigued. Kincare will send you 45 minutes to 1hour drive to clients place. Clients complain a lot about Kincare and their issues are not resolved/are ignored by management. Lack of career progression. Management not that supportive. Communication is not great either. Contrary to what Kincare advertises - they do not care about their clients nor staff. Please be aware of these issues if you do apply. I would not recommend this company to anyone for employment.

Poor Communication with management to field staff - management not approachable and do not return communicationHigh volume of staff turnover HCW not treated with respect and could treat their clients better . Thank goodness for the clients They do not follow their mission statement at the end of the day it it’s not a company I would recommend for either working or as a service provider unfortunately they say they promote advancement although this is definitely not the case

Worst company I have ever worked at.The worst company I have ever worked at. Management DO NOT care about their employees and have unrealistic demands, HR does nothing but protect the company and do not help employees at all. Underpaid with long hours and no recognition from managers except when you do something they don't agree with. I will never use this company for my family with any services they DO NOT care about customers. All the upper management care about is profit and unrealistic KPIs.
