Casual but efficient
Maintenance Manager (Former Employee) - Kings Canyon NT - 17 May 2022

The most useful review selected by IndeedCasual place to work, however people enjoy working here for the ongoing activity. A very communal site who enjoy the benefits of joining the colleagues from Uluru for interaction in either training or sports activities.
Pros
Good mess and facilities for the staff
Cons
Isolated siter

Nightmare
Room Attendant (Former Employee) - Yulara NT - 25 May 2020
I worked in Kings Canyon for about 6 months. Met wonderful people but the living conditions are not the best. very hard without wifi, terrible food and accomodatio that we have to pay. The big managers ladies are so rude, they dont care about the staff. In summer the temperature reach 44 C or more and aircon doesn't work , they dont care if you sleep sweating all night, also if you ask for a better room they just dont care.
They love asían workers cause cant complain and get exploted by them

Great experience
Waitress/Kitchen Hand/Bartender (Former Employee) - Alice Springs NT - 19 March 2019
A fun and rewarding way to learn more about Australia's red centre whilst being paid. Meeting new people is always a big plus. The living quarters are well set up and furnished to make your stay comfortable. There is never a dull day in the out back.
Pros
Cost effective

general hand (Former Employee) - everywhere - 24 January 2019
everyone there felt like a family and we felt like we had our own community. we all were trained in different job roles to be able to help other departments out as we could only rely on eachother as we were so far out.
Pros
all the locals would come and get to know you
Cons
in the middle of no where

Public Area Attendant (Former Employee) - kings canyon resort nt - 30 June 2014
waking up looking at the canyon every morning --watching the on coming storms in the summer--the sun rises in the mornings. the multi-cultural staff made work a delight with their differences--made some good mates. the hardest part of the job was working in the rain.
