Flexible but cut throat

Indeed Featured review

The most useful review selected by Indeed
Flexible but can easily get burnt out. If you don’t make yourself known or constantly promote yourself you run the risk of not offered any work. Which is not good for anyone who is introverted by nature.

Amazing place to grow and learn

I have had fantastic years at KPMG. It is an amazing place to grow and learn. The pace and expectations can be challenging but the variety and depth of exposure to client and work is unrivalled.

Great teams and supports.Competitive salary comes at cost of work-life balance.Seeing others people leaving made me feel insecure. But overall good experience.

Old fashioned management

Old fashioned management, worst compensation compared to the market, Current Focus is on outsourcing everything. There are no positives in working here tbh.

A great place to start your career

A great place to start your career, learn a lot of knowledge and on-job experience. But will lots of work in limited time, hence stress out in busy seasons

Great place to start your career

Great people and lots of opportunity to learn about many industries. Hours can be long and remuneration could be better. Good place to start your career.

what you learned

Long Hours

Long hours and poor pay. A lot of company politics as well. Management tip toes around clients and accepts unrealistic deadlines, which the team needs to then deal with.

Nice environment

Nice place, good people, some British-dominated racisim but minimal.Bad audit tools, no administrative work.Average pay that you need to negotiate, if you have got power!Workload is high. You can not have rest on annual leave.High staff turnover.

Pros

Good people balanced culture.

Cons

Long hours. Leadership will support as far as they need you. They will not support, if they do not need you. In otherwords, when the borders are open and they can bring people from overseas, you are just a number that they do not need.

it's a rat race machine

Cookie cutter approach to everything. If you don't agree with a partner your career is over.Collaboration across business is highly promoted in public and highly discouraged in private.
