Unprofessional Recruiters
Employee (Former Employee) - Qld - 3 February 2022
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedNot professional, not personable, only interested in their clients not their employees. Take forever to do anything or get anything out of them and then they expect YOU to fly through their recruitment process and quite literally do all the hard work to please their client. Empty promises and lip service. Avoid or make sure you use them only for your own personal gain for temporary employment and run as soon as you can - there is no loyalty in this business, they treat it as cut throat and have no interest at all in Human Resources Management or people, just the dollar value on your head.

Not too bad
Pick Packer (Current Employee) - Campbelltown NSW - 26 October 2022
It’s ok if you want to find quick job but not stable. Position maybe far and not accessible with public transport. Hard to communicate with the team by phone

Highly recommend? No way! Zero Star Rating
Labourer (Casual) (Former Employee) - Queensland - 21 March 2022
WORK FOR LABOURPOWER IF YOU LOVE: * Poor management. * Shocking communication. * Rude, lazy, incompetent account managers - who are not very bright and are compulsive liars. * Below average customer service. * Awesome at breaching security, privacy, policies and procedures and awesome at covering it up. * Getting paid incorrectly or weeks later. * Make up excuses not to help you develop in your role. * Inconsistency. * Disadvantage or sack you if, you know your working rights. * Unorganized. * No respect for others. You are just a pay check to them. Do not believe any of their core values they promote. There is nothing good to say about Labour Power.

Worse company to ever run
Covid Swabber (Former Employee) - Campbelltown NSW - 28 February 2022
Management is so poor. Everytime you call or text they don't reply and just straight up ignore you. You basically have no one to complain to because they don't even give you HR number. Once you ask for a day off just for one day the rest of your shifts are going to get cut from that day onwards. Management does not know how to effectively communicate to its employees correctly and as a NSW Project Manager i assume you would be able to communicate properly but that isn't the case.

No job security
Process Worker (Former Employee) - Perth WA - 17 October 2021
The job security is awful and communication with the Labourpower recruiter for my area was often quick, however not useful at all and often didn’t answer enquiries directly.
Pros
Good hours
Cons
Bad communication on position

What Was I Thinking
Process Worker (Casual) (Former Employee) - Campbelltown NSW - 9 September 2021
I thought I'd give them a go. Yes they can be quick to find work but there's no job security. One week you wok, another week, you don't. Losing valuable income. I've actually had enough and I'm very patent. Luckily for me, I found my own job and in work love doing. Delivery driver. No thanks to Laboir Power. Payroll doesn't even chase up your time sheets so you can get paid on time.
Pros
Coffee
Cons
Lots

Trash
Worker (Former Employee) - Sydney - 21 August 2021
After telling them that I worked with another agency, they completely ghosted me; which is extremely petty and disrespectful. I also lost a good offer from them, all because I worked somewhere else. Customer support is also hopeless. Never work or call here.

Jobs at Labourpower Recruitment Services
Unprofessional
Forklift Driver (Former Employee) - Hoxton Park - 12 June 2021
Never ever sign up or even trust this agency. They will only profit from you and you will never get paid correctly. If any of you people get assigned to work at DB Schenker, Hoxton Park, my advice is that never accept the job. Many untrained, unprofessional people working in this place plus the staff from LabourPower are not helpful. Believe me I've been there and if my words is not good enough? Wait until you actually work there, I just hope you don't regret it and if you do? Sorry it's too late.
Pros
Free coffee
Cons
Working long hours and hourly rate sucks

I'd also rate this place with zero stars
Don't do it...read the reviews. (Former Employee) - Smithfield NSW - 21 October 2020
Got sent to Vinidex as an LO operator months ago and was told an incorrect pay rate by them. I worked there for 4 weeks and did everything correctly. Then I got the (not required) phone call and they attempted to send me to another client for much less money again. I took other work offered by Action Workforce which is also a total joke of an agency. I won't be working for this mob in this lifetime or the next. Don't expect them to answer the phone if you have any issues. What a Circus that experience was.
Pros
Nothing
Cons
This agency is a Con.

No ongoing role for you
Warehouse Worker (Former Employee) - All Sydney NSW - 15 August 2020
These guys obviously have lots of clients and what they will do is throw you everywhere. You won't have ongoing job unless you have connections. They dont care about your situation and will just call you anytime with short notice for available shift. Worse is they wont pay you the right amount of wage you're supposed to. And in unlucky, they wouldnt pay you for a work you did even if you call them so many times, they will always say they're fixing it but they just wont pay you because "apparently", their client didnt submit the timesheet just like what they did to me, smh
Pros
Lots of work, but awful life balance
Cons
Wrong salary, no ongoing, throw you everywhere, No stable job

Very good
Machine Operator (Casual) (Current Employee) - Brisbane QLD - 12 July 2020
It's a fantastic company to work with it. I highly recommend to try. The jobs are competitive but has to be consistent in trying to get one. All they wants is positive attitude towards work.

Very unprofessional
Fitter (Former Employee) - Derrimut VIC - 7 July 2020
Send workers in tack pants, they send inexperienced casuals, stuff wages up weekly, late with tax returns and extremely rude attitude towards personnel, also very unreliable when workers are need last minute, I would not recommend them to any management that requires good production results
Pros
None
Cons
Labour power

Not the worst but definitely wouldn't go back
Pick Packer (Former Employee) - Taren Point NSW - 8 April 2020
At the time, the employed LabourPower employees were very young and kept their maturity and mentality as such. The workplace at the time was bearable but could get very hands on and hectic within seconds at any wrong move.
