Agency does a lot of good. Employees lack good work ethic

Indeed Featured review

The most useful review selected by Indeed
Employees lack good work ethic. People are promoted for the wrong reasons. Agency does a lot of good for refugees and new Australians. Management is a little lost. They need to figure out direction and work together to get there. Communication could be improved.

Pros

Agency does good work for clients.

Cons

Bad work ethic in employees.

Worst job I’ve ever had

This place is the most toxic work environment I’ve ever experienced. Management is terrible and completely incompetent. They only care about themselves. They run the company like a money making machine. I would never work here ever again.

Pros

Nothing

Cons

Everything

Great organisation if you have good management don’t go to asylum seeker program

No work life balance. Staff are not respected very toxic. management in asylum seekers program don’t value the staff it’s all about pleasing immigration department. Some other programs are great as managers are great. Good organisations but you have to be in the right team.

Not up to standard

Unethical work practice. Management are not skilled or qualified enough for their roles, very incompetent. Workplace operates as though a call centre, bottom line is more important than client wellbeing.

Toxic environment and incompetent management

Most mid- and senior-level managers in their NSW branch of the refugee program are incompetent and do not have the technical knowledge of programs they run, they lack people skills needed to manage staff, address their needs or accord respect, they instead resort to micromanagement and making petty and demeaning rules.
