Link Group
Manager (Former Employee) –  Rhodes NSW24 March 2019
Link Group is entirely focussed on shareholders and the bottom line but completely neglects to consider that employee engagement is key to the success of the business. Link does not value its employees at all (unless of course you go out drinking with the boss). Link does not consider individual contribution to business outcomes. The only positive about working for Link are the individuals in each team and their ongoing commitment to goals.
Pros
Location, free gym
Cons
Lack of work life balance, lack of recognition for individuals

Great Company
HESTA Inbound Superannuation Customer Service (Former Employee) –  Melbourne VIC1 February 2019
Great Company, great people to work with & for, excellent culture. Hardest part of the job is taking calls related to death claims, or members who were suicidal or experiencing financial hardship

Toxic Place to work. Don’t care about employees
Call Centre Representative - Rest (Former Employee) –  Rhodes NSW30 January 2019
Pay is horrible for loyal staff. There are people who have been there for a long time with no pay increase and people joining are getting hired with higher pay. They don’t reward the staff. Call centre environment is toxic high school stuff. None of the Team leaders can be trusted in the contact centre with any personal information. You get hammered if you call in sick and are asked ‘why what’s wrong with you?’ Just a horrible place to work with no real incentive to stay.

Terrible Management
Superannuation Customer Service Consultant (Former Employee) –  Melbourne VIC7 November 2018
Terrible management couldn't even be saved by coworkers because it's a revolving door of new faces that the people there longer than 6 months have to pick up the slack for. Zero potential for advancement unless you're best friends with the management team.
I have seen people get their 2% salary increase during review while others don't and it has nothing to do with performance, it's all about how much your manager likes you.
If you can work at maccas, I would pick it over this place.
Pros
It's difficult to get fired no matter how imcompetent you are after you pass probation.
Cons
Working there.

Decent, but hard work
Claims Administrator (Former Employee) –  Rhodes NSW16 October 2018
Link Group is not a terrible place to work, in fact, most of the people you work with on a day-to-day basis are decent and fun people so the culture isn't too bad.

Management can be very target and statistics driven, which comes with the territory of contact centre work, but it can become a touch overwhelming or disheartening as the volume of work is quite high any way.

Team culture varies from team to team, but some of the Managers were lovely and understanding.
Pros
Overtime, Free gym, good location
Cons
Minimal parking, KPI driven, Some negative people

fast paced work
Senior Customer Service Consultant (Former Employee) –  Sydney NSW10 October 2018
it was a fast paced contact center roll, where you would take fairly large amount of calls every day. management was quite supportive,
work place culture was there but it would be different from team to team

the hardest part about the job was having to deal with customers non-stop but having to juggle a lot of other daily tasks with minimum time off the phone

most enjoyable part of the job is the people

Not a place I would recommend
IT Analyst (Former Employee) –  Sydney NSW29 July 2017
This company has a history of departmental heads demanding that employees work weekends and public holidays with no pay or time in lieu, despite paying rather ordinary wages. They justify this on a gross misinterpretation of the "reasonable additional hours as necessary" clause in the standard employment contract ie. they completely ignore the "reasonable" part. There is also a culture of bullying by management. Shame, because most of the 'underlings' are a lovely and diverse bunch.
Pros
None
Cons
Long hours, toxic workplace culture
