I Have worked her for almost 3 Years now, initially it was a great job but as i got into my second year things went downhill from there.

Constant restructuring.

Lack of support.

if you are given ad -hoc duties you do not get given time off the phones to do them.

Very very strict monitoring of work time and adherence.

like i said company was great to begin with but after 7 managers, 5 Team coaches, 3 CCM's and constant resignations its not somewhere to stay long term, there is just no consistency.
Pros
Free Fruit once a week.
Cons
No support from leadership

Good place to start your career in finance / superannuation. Get to meet many new faces. Work is quite busy.

Micro managed one of the major cons. If it's not micromanaged the staff will have a great time.
Pros
Supportive
Cons
Micromanaged

This company has a fair pay scale, however, the work environment is very stressful. There is no job security either. It was among the first few companies in their industry to start firing people due to COVID-19, while their competitors were not taking any such drastic measures.

Average pay is less then market rate. It is always understaffed as management does not care to replace staff to save cost.Staff regularly do over times without being paid for it.

Working for Link Group which are superannuation administrators they are the lowest paying within the industry but it is good to get your foot in the door and get the relevant experience and training for the industry.
If you work well and take control of your learning you can move around the company but there really isn't much chance for pay increases.

Their parental leave is probably the worst I have ever seen.

For areas like admin where you don't have to speak to anyone they should offer more flexibility like work from home or offering of part time.

Its good for experience and your foot in the door to the industry but not for long term.

A typical day is a large number of calls as well as various ad hoc duties. Training was adequate when I started but had simplified and new staff are babied now.

Link Group is entirely focussed on shareholders and the bottom line but completely neglects to consider that employee engagement is key to the success of the business. Link does not value its employees at all (unless of course you go out drinking with the boss). Link does not consider individual contribution to business outcomes. The only positive about working for Link are the individuals in each team and their ongoing commitment to goals.
Pros
Location, free gym
Cons
Lack of work life balance, lack of recognition for individuals

Great Company, great people to work with & for, excellent culture. Hardest part of the job is taking calls related to death claims, or members who were suicidal or experiencing financial hardship

Pay is horrible for loyal staff. There are people who have been there for a long time with no pay increase and people joining are getting hired with higher pay. They don’t reward the staff. Call centre environment is toxic high school stuff. None of the Team leaders can be trusted in the contact centre with any personal information. You get hammered if you call in sick and are asked ‘why what’s wrong with you?’ Just a horrible place to work with no real incentive to stay.

Terrible management couldn't even be saved by coworkers because it's a revolving door of new faces that the people there longer than 6 months have to pick up the slack for. Zero potential for advancement unless you're best friends with the management team.
I have seen people get their 2% salary increase during review while others don't and it has nothing to do with performance, it's all about how much your manager likes you.

If you can work at maccas, I would pick it over this place.
Pros
It's difficult to get fired no matter how imcompetent you are after you pass probation.
Cons
Working there.

Link Group is not a terrible place to work, in fact, most of the people you work with on a day-to-day basis are decent and fun people so the culture isn't too bad.

Management can be very target and statistics driven, which comes with the territory of contact centre work, but it can become a touch overwhelming or disheartening as the volume of work is quite high any way.

Team culture varies from team to team, but some of the Managers were lovely and understanding.
Pros
Overtime, Free gym, good location
Cons
Minimal parking, KPI driven, Some negative people
