Young and inexperienced supervision
Mechanical Fitter (casual) (Former Employee) - Perth WA - 18 February 2022
Very young and inexperienced supervision with no guidelines, relying on experienced workers to carry them. No guidelines other than experience from previous jobs.
Pros
None
Cons
Hot hardworking inhumane conditions, not a family friendly lifestyle either.

Good workplace ,it's just the people above is not threatening the workers well.
Mechanical Fitter (Former Employee) - Perth WA - 21 April 2021
I suggest to all the people from the management ( supervisor's) who handle the shutdown to threat the workers fair, no discrimination. Be professional not just because they are on the good position, that's the reason why some jumping on other companies.
Pros

Cons
Flexible shutdowns routine

They need to review salaries at least once in a year
Mechanical Maintenance Fitter (Current Employee) - Paraburdoo WA - 7 July 2020
I don’t understand criteria they use to promote workers say to supervisor level.
When people stay at Linkforce it doesn’t mean they have no where to go but they just need to settle one place so treat them fairly and properly.
Im well experienced fitter but im still paid at new starter level.

The hardest part of the job.
Bus Driver/T. A./EWP/Forklift Operater (Former Employee) - Perth WA - 29 March 2020
Making sure you know your job description well and that you understand your responsibilities including your duty of care. Management(Client & Linkforce) aren't as clued in when you first get to site so vigilance and patience are great attributes.

Child Supervisors with no real world industry experience .
Waitress (Former Employee) - Pilbara WA - 1 January 2020
Not a company that values loyalty or respect they run on bullying fear tactics and strive to keep the work force on edge .
They mould new perspective supervisors to treat everyone with disdain and groom those who like to rat and snitch on everyone else.
Safety is not a concern and all injuries will tried to be covered up before the client is aware, under reporting is rife.

Good entry level mining job
Boilermaker & Welder (Current Employee) - Pilbara WA - 1 January 2020
Entry level only
There are better mining jobs out there but you can get your foot in the door with these guys.
Most supervisors ok but always under pressure and working conditions are harsh
Best thing is you can choose your site and no pressure to work more shutdowns than you want

no respect given
Rigger (Former Employee) - Pilbara WA - 12 January 2019
Travel in your own time between village and site, sometimes forced to work through lunch or wait til 430, no toilets provided or vehicle to get to one, one crib room for dozens of people so people standing when you do get a break, organization of flights and transfers between shuts a shambles but they will harrass you hard if you leave crib room without safety glasses on even when its not a site rule. The shutdown managers never even introduced themselves.
Pros
makes you appreciate other companies
Cons
mdny workers think this treatment is acceptable even normal
