Great area to learn and gain alot of experience. Ratio to is 2:8 but at times can be more depending on staffing. Shortage of nurses are common. Overall still great pay and supportive environment.

The job itself is easy but can be a little confusing at times. The only thing that is hard is dealing with other staff members, such as nurses, drs and admin, act like your boss and demand you do things their way. Most times other staff will deliberately make mess for no reason, which makes your job harder.

In all my positions I have worked, I've worked with good teams. Some smaller managers definitely leave a lot to be desired but the Exec are all great and know what they are doing.Depending where you work, work hours and shifts are very flexible. Uniforms are supplied for the relevant positions. Ongoing education and training is supplied/offered, its a very productive workplace. It is also close to public transport (buses, trains) for those who don't drive.

After all the new development and greater spectrum of the Liverpool Hospital, I recommend Liverpool Hospital to be an amazing place to work at in terms of close to transport and amenities, it has all the upgraded technology, and its come along way since being a tiny little hospital in a busy developing area.

Workplace cultural

Primary Focus on CORE values, but poor training to incorporate CORE values. Work load identify team work but only teams of 1 with dependency on needs. Poor support from management (Nursing). 80% work of management around meetings. Management poor decision making. Poor IT support. Good clinical care of patients

Time never stops here, everyone takes shifts, everyone is productive, everyone is still so miraculously gentle and everyone is just so happy here. You can be sick but you are constantly reminded that people care. You are servicing, but you know it's worth it. Just the concept of giving and taking is so mutual and mentally satisfying that all the work stress and mishaps make it all worth it.
