Negative reinforcement, Lone Star thrives off of the demoralisation of its workers. Even if you have legitimately nothing to do you must look as if you are frantically busy at all times or risk being intimidated by the (not entirely sober) owner, this raises anxiety exponentially and leads to rapid emotional, mental, and physical exhaustion of the employees. Subsequently, you are far more likely to make mistakes which in turn leads to negative reinforcement and the cycle continues. There is no sense of joy and personality is rapidly squashed, if you try to create a personal connection with your customers you will be chastised.
