Changed your payslipsBody shamed workers Unrealistic expectations Don’t care about your personal life The Regional Managers need to go through proper training to learn how to deal with staff members professionally. They have the most toxic management I have ever come across.

Terrible Management, Under paid, but good team.

This job, as a first job, has taught me a lot. I feel I am well equipped to deal with high energy stressful events in a small crowded workplace. However, regional management punishes floor staff, the dress code is super strict for no reason, and every member is underpaid for the amount of work they do. In some cases I would be the only working staff member on floor during a busy sale period, with no breaks, and having to fill every role (manager, ASM, stylist/floor staff, piercer). The team however, is what got me through this role, very supportive of each other and acknowledging of the tireless efforts we all put into the job.

Cult-like workplace

Terrible place to work at. Bullying from head office and upper management. Peer pressure into harassing customers to sell add ons. Your shifts depend on the store's sales each week.

Only care about the numbers, not the wellbeing of staff

I worked here during Covid, and i was coerced into working a 7 day week as i was the only one who was not unwell. When i expressed my concerns and putting myself at risk of covid exposure, i was made to feel that i was selfish and letting my team down.The closing process almost always took longer than the 15 minutes allocated, even when you were working with someone else and super efficient at it, which i was given how often i did it.The pressure to sell “add on’s” took away from providing genuine customer service and sometimes would result in a lower sales total, for instance 3 for 30 dollars sterling silver, you could lose a sale for one pair of earrings valued over 30 dollars, so it never really made sense to me.Culture was toxic and unprofessional amongst regional managers (we had approx 5 in the one year i worked there as they literally all left) so clearly they were all miserable.My home team was lovely and i made a lot of friends, and i enjoyed selling to customers and the daily processes but otherwise it was a complete flop, which i was drastically underpaid for.
