It was a good place to work

A typical day at work will be dealing with community at large. It was an outdoor job. I walked through every street in the council's area to record Street sign data and forward any other damages to the designated department.

I really enjoyed working at the Maribyrnong City Council. Although the work sometimes was a bit boring, there were a lot of interesting things to be apart of which made it enjoyable. The people I worked with were also helpful and enjoyable

Bad place

Not a good place to work. Management and supervisors very inexperience. Workers are all in slow motion, both mentally and physically. Very corrupt place.

Cultural diversities, green embrace, environment caring

The Council is strong to cultural diversities, green advocacy, environment reservation.
There is usual bureaucracy exist in the administration as many other public sectors. The management quality is spectrum depending to the competency of the executives managers
That is challenging to the Local Laws Officer sometimes when he/she encountered with the harsh residents who are often non compliant to the laws
