I applied online on the 18th of October and was notified to come in for an interview within 5 minutes. I had the interview on the 27th and got the job on the spot. My first shift is on the 4th of November. Didn't take too long at all.

No, its easier to train baristas. Baristas focus on milk, coffee grind, temperature, froth, etc. Crew members are expected to know location of items on the register, how to greet, how to handle customers, making soft drinks, desserts, fries, everything.
