Not recommended
Registered Nurse, Agency (Current Employee) - Brisbane QLD - 8 March 2023
The Main Office and Melbourne office are great. The Qld office is horrendous bringing shame to this agency. Ive worked on/off with this agency for awhile now and never have I experienced the level of unprofessionalism from the brisbane office. Rude staff, last minutes cancellations, changes with rates, the list goes on. I would not recommend this agency for now not unless they changed their culture and behaviour towards the people that work for them. Negotiation doesn't exist with this office. Such a shame.
Pros
The main office in Perth is reasonable.
Cons
Brisbane office is horrendous!

Caring and supportive workplace
Assistant in Nursing (AIN) (Current Employee) - Brisbane QLD - 26 May 2022
The staffs area reachable in anytime of the day. They will try their best to provide support for us. They will also try to allocate shifts regarding our best preference, as long as our availabilities are up to date. Easy weekly payment method, and reasonable hourly pay rate as well. Highly recommended to work with them.

The best nursing agency
Registered Nurse (RN) (Current Employee) - Perth WA - 14 April 2022
I have worked with Mediserve for over a year now, the staff are so so efficient, professional and super organised and timely. I am with a few other nursing agencies though mediserve are hands down the best, all the consultants are intelligent, effective communicators, honest, trustworthy & show much integrity. I can be a lil stressful at times though the staff are extremely kind and supportive. 100% recommend this company. Im also with HCA (avoid this agency), Medacs (good agency), First Choice just started (good agency so far)

Poor
Personal Care Assistant (Current Employee) - Melbourne VIC - 28 November 2021
At first they are very good. Gives you weekend shifts and more number of shifts. After few weeks they don't listen to you at all. They keep hiring new staff and forget the rest.

Recruiter
Recruiter (Former Employee) - Brisbane QLD - 27 October 2021
This job has a very high turn over rate as the manager never has time to train you and every single thing in the brisbane office is broken. It takes 1hr just to start up the computer and then you get told off for not knowing how to use the systems as you have received no training.
Pros
None
Cons
Broken computer, printer, wifi systems and no training

Terrible place to work at
Recruitment Consultant (Former Employee) - Perth WA - 21 November 2020
Very stressful job due to poor management and unrealistic expectations. The management focuses on end result only at all costs - priority is phone calls yet forget the fact that our number is private hence many voicemails are left as nurses are reluctant to answering the phone calls, and there are other way of communications (SMS and emails that nurses prefer). Consultants waste time doing ineffective tasks given by the management rather than focusing on the actual job - no trust and no autonomy (micromanagement). No recognition of high achievements - never good enough.
Pros
Parking spot, cake on birthday, great colleagues
Cons
Low pay, lack of support and terrible management

Well respected agency whatever state or hospital I have worked in.
Endorsed Enrolled Nurse (Former Employee) - Darwin NT - 27 July 2020
I had to do a week of on line training to work in NT but it was very informative and beneficial. Workplace culture in NT is a learning curve in itself. Working for Mediserve Nursing Agency was a great experience for me in Perth, Sydney, Darwin and Adelaide. The office staff were just so easy to get on with and flexible.
Pros
Accommodation was available at reasonable rates
Cons
Sometimes short notice for shifts but manageable

Very stressful environment. Confusing management protocols
Recruitment & Compliance Specialist (Former Employee) - Brisbane QLD - 21 July 2020
Very indifferent management. Interested in end result only and do not really encourage staff at all. The decisions from management change constantly. Head office is in Perth so communication is difficult for other state offices.
Very difficult environment to work in. Almost to the point of unprofessionalism.
Pros
No Pro's
Cons
Long hours. Little reward and definitely not a strong management team

Very interesting and informative
Personal Care Assistant (Casual) (Former Employee) - Perth Central Business District WA - 18 May 2020
This nursing agency is very flexible and great pay but however it is not very flexible east getting shifts. And people are put on casual roles without any job securities unless you are a news rising staff.
Pros
Better pays during public holidays and tge jobs are very easy in hospitals as a PCA
Cons
Long night shifts
