Established in 2003, the prime objective of the Melbourne Sports Institute is to nurture the development of sport from grassroots to professional levels while embracing Australian values of fair play, sportsmanship, team unity and morale.

Our vision is to be at the forefront of research and consultancy for the advancement of youth sport development, which will allow us to evolve and create a foundation for new services while maintaining our core commitment to our clients.

Physical exercise and the continued development of athletic skills during youth set the stage for success as an adult. Using sport as a vehicle, we provide a distinctive educational encounter that will become the building blocks for students’ continued physical, emotional and social development.

We currently facilitate sporting programs to over 200 client schools and sporting organisations around Melbourne in a wide range of sports.

The future direction of the Melbourne Sports Institute is dedicated to the development of athletes who compete at all levels of the sporting spectrum. We are the 'team behind the team' as we work diligently behind the scenes to help enrich and, ultimately, optimise your sport development programs.

Basketball Coach in Melbourne VIC

Working here suits my current situation as well as providing me the opportunity to coach basketball
Great company to work for and overall extremely fair. Information regarding vacant positions are quickly shared which allows us an opportunity to earn more money when required. The staff are all very helpful and are quick to cover any absences. All locations of jobs are very efficiently shared and the facilities are of a high standard, which is very important with regards to health and safety

The worst company you could ever work for.
Deplorable boss who has absolutely no idea about any sport or how to treat staff. I would not recommend working here to anyone. One of the worst work environments ever.

Very Flexible
It's easier to coordinate and have a good work-life balance working over here. Also, very friendly coaches to work with. Information and available shifts for coaching sessions are passed on well.
