Great colleagues

Most staff are friendly and easy to get along with. Hours are standard. Hardly any overtime available- Ni commission structure in place which is a huge downside in this trade.

Productive and fair work place, great boss and excellent team to work with

My experience working at Daimler was very good, it's a big place with lots of workers, everyone is friendly and there are lot's of opportunities to advance within the company. The boss is very friendly and easy to approach. The pay was good and they have free coffee machines and a free BBQ every Saturday for workers.

Pros

Good pay, opportunities to advance

Overall service department is great

Was a great place to work at with opportunity for growth and development. Workshop controllers and service management where overall good. Most service advisors where easy to get along with. Upper management are unfair and unrealistic. Very big turnover in staff approx 56 in the service department during my 2 years there. Needs to be a better bpnus system and improvement of work culture

Pros

Great people to work with, close to home, overtime available if you want

Cons

Unrealistic targets, always push but no return, salary isn't the best especially with Sydney's growth

Good

Mercedes is a good place to work, very steady work is available allowing for good job security. The pay is fair, usually at award rates but consistent and as agreed. There is a great group of people to work and socialise with and this increases the workplace moral incredibly. It is not however a very good place for progression and increasing knowledge and skills
