Managers are either sensational or terrible
Sales Professional (Former Employee) – Melbourne VIC – 10 May 2017
A typical day in the job involves setting up the store, cleaning the jewellery, taking repair dockets, lead generation, diamond presentations, sales, up-selling. I earned just over $19 an hour. If you are designated to the right management you are encouraged and made worthy of more education undertaken, some managers are disgusting and some staff members lodge harrassment and bullying.
Each store values different parts of the Michael Hill promise. So you really have to pick your manager.
The most enjoyable part of the job is customers and yearly events with the state, as well as commission and recognition.
Positive environment, constantly learning
Management can be nasty
