Investment needed in people and premises
My experience with Road Chef is one of feeling that they do not pay their staff enough when considering the high work load during peak periods. There are often not enough staff to cope leading to stressful and chaotic working conditions. I feel better planning from the management could help alleviate a lot of this problem.
The premises where very - more... run-down and in need of repair and investment. Severe roof leaks, dated and often non-functional equipment. General cleanliness below par.
