Work was enjoyable, work conditions very unpleasant
ADMINISTRATION OFFICER - MIDWIFERY ANTENATAL & POSTNATAL SERVICES (Former Employee) - Griffith NSW - 1 April 2020
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedWorkload is unfair and completely unrealistic for the hours of employment.
Most people fall victim to bullying and harassment from other members of staff (including team leaders and higher management) throughout their career.
Little to no opportunity for promotion, unless you are related to higher management.
Casual staff only receive hours if you are related to or friendly with the higher management.
The recruitment process is unethical, those who know people gain a position.
Work environment is unpleasant, disorganised and team leaders will not accept suggestions for improvement of current work practices.
People are genuinely bullied, or pushed to their limits if you dont "fit in" to the point of resignation.

The interview process is the worst I have ever experienced.
Radiographer (Former Employee) - Finley NSW - 25 November 2020
The interview was a panel from different sites. I have since found out they didnt even read the resume provided as part of the job application process but didnt mention that in the interview. I was meant to regurgitate my resume for them but they didnt mention that either. They didnt respond to requests for information prior to the job application process being submitted. During the interview they inserted a "trick" question of wardspeople meaning anybody on the ward when "wardspeople" is the unviersally recognized job title of orderlies. Even though I specifically clarified what they meant by that particular question they didnt mention that they werent referring to orderlies. The feedback I sought was proforma in nature and they then refused to clarify what they would have liked to have received for the answer to the wardspeople question.
Cons
a childish job application process, it only serves to lower the reputation of the district and panel members

Great multidisciplinary team environment
Mental Health Clinician (Current Employee) - Deniliquin NSW - 29 January 2020
It's a fast-paced environment that is dynamic. The team culture is relaxed, friendly and supportive. The staff consist of a variety of personalities, cultures, disciplines and ages that all come together to do the best by our consumers.
There are some incredibly hard days which are offset by the good outcomes we achieve. Lots of driving and use of technology. Great learning and development opportunities within an academic learning environment.
Employment opportunities include CAMHS, Adults, SMHOPS, Assertive, AOD and management.
Pros
Fantastic team culture, diverse work, opportunities for learning, great managers
Cons
High case loads, old buildings, underfunded.
