In the program residents in Stage 3 were required to work in the office to obtain new skills and learn how to relate to others in a confined space and how to resolve difficult encounters with fellow residents and visitors to the rehab. Being able to share skills that I have and appreciated those who struggle in obtaining new skills. Seeing some residents come into the office and take to the daily schedules and tasks like a duck to water. Others had difficulties because they were outside people, but they still had to endure 12 weeks in the office. Quite a maturing time for these ones. Workplace culture was one of respect and adding value to others lives. no discrimination, achievable standards that would allow the residents to know how to integrate into new friendships and communities no matter where they are. Treat others how you would like to be treated. Teaching others to put themselves in others shoes. Listen and see a new view point was the hardest part of the job. The most enjoyable part of the job seeing them achieve new awarenesses and skills that they can pass onto others.

Mediocre workplace, issues with middle management

Worked here for 5 years and have seen the culture shift in the wrong direction. Many redundancies but they rarely seem to fire the right people. A lot of wasted space in management, many managers steal ideas from, and delegate all their work to, employees below them. Most enjoyable part of the job is speaking to the clients themselves, dealing with the rubbish internally can result in loss of engagement in the job. Reward and recognition is a huge issue within the workplace - Many high achievers often miss out on receiving the grand benefits the workplace has to offer, often superseded by acts of fraudulent behavior and outright cheating. Which is covered up and sometimes even promoted by certain managers to achieve their own KPI's. Working from home has always been an issue, often promoted by managers after engagement surveys however when you ask if you can you usually get shut down. Sales targets are ever-increasing and not aligned to internal changes at all making it difficult to hit sales targets and in-turn receive commissions.

Productive fun place

Great work culture, opportunities provided for training. Emphasis on agile methodology provided us with an opportunity to become more dynamic as an organization and pivot when required.

MYOB provided both a challenging and rewarding work environment. There is opportunity to learn and grow within the workplace. Targets provided are attainable and support is given to reach them.

friendy working place

Myob is a great place to work but I do have temperory contract with MYOB the company is great with wonderful and friendly atmosphere very helpful management and team leader

fun workplace, great incentives

A typical day at MYOB involved striving to meet monthly targets, this was mainly achieved by the sense of teamwork and advice given by other employees and management. Support and hints and tips were available from both also. The hardest part of the working day was remaining focused and motivated if calls were not answered. The most enjoyable aspect of this role was a sense of accomplishment when your target was met as well as the excellent incentives offered my the company.
