Ngaanyatjarra Council Employee Review
Work Load is very high, they have reduced staffing of the remote community offices Training is adhoc, even when requested, receiving information or guidance is hard Management, no policies and procedures in place, will eventually cause tragedy in this remote region Hardest part of the job, is being expected to be available to the community members 24/7 (this is not from management) Being able to support and assist people in need, meeting the great people out there and being independent in the work place.

Good pay and isolate work place, no one looking over your shoulder! Close knit working group with the other agencies on the ground
expectation of community members to be able to call on you 24/7
Wages theft; manager scatty and forgetful (?selective); does not honour her commitments/agreements; untruthful and untrustworthy tends to engage in gossip; has a preference for only employing NZ nurses; local nurses are bullied out of their jobs in preference to make way for NZ nurses. Cheats and lies. Chats
Full, busy days Learned team management with team members from varying cultural backgrounds Senior managers were largely hands off, trusting staff to be responsible and competent the workplace culture is inclusive, relaxed, and considerate of the many different cultures represented The hardest part of my job is to find skilled people to fill vancies The most enjoyable part was being included in the many team building functions
