Workplace culture is nice and an opportunity to meet new people

Deal with handling oil related food that takes a toll on your skin from all the heat and having to deal with rude customers is a big issue. Overall, job experience isn’t bad but not a job one would recommend.

Typical Fast Food Joint

I prepared meals for customers which involved cooking and preparing chicken based meals. I washed all the dishes and cleaned the workplace when it was required. I stood on my feet for the whole day and had a short lunch break. I learned about the food safety precautions around chicken based products and how to cook them properly. The co-workers were generally easy to work with and easy to get along with. Management was alright but never gave enough praise when deserved. The hardest part of the job was the time management to make to order meals. The most enjoyable part of the job was the friendly co-workers who helped pass the time easier.

Pros

reduced prices on food

Cons

long hours standing
