Assistant Optical Dispenser in Perth WA

Fun environment, constantly learning
Usually will be 9-5 shifts, but the days seem to go pretty fast. The employees and management are mostly very helpful and supportive in assisting you to get better at what you're doing Customer Sales and Service in Moonee Ponds VIC

Stressful highly pressured sales environment
Constant pressure from area managers to meet ridiculous KPI's which shouldn't exist in a health services company. Thinly disguised "professionalism" in a sales company owned by an Italian multinational, solely interested in the bottom line. Avoid if you can. Try working in independent Optometry - far better !!Optical Dispenser in Gungahlin ACT

Every job has its up's and down's
I worked for OPSM for about 6 years off and on but on this accusation I worked for them 3 years. The people I worked with were fantastic however head office management were less desired. Hours were always blown out and you very rarely left work on-time, all staff Training was done in your time and never paid, staff meetings were also before or after work hours and also not paid. The thing I enjoyed was the people I worked with and how well we worked together as a team, our store manager was kind and thoughtful and always had our best interest in mind at all times. A typical working day was fast passed and knowledge of the work is recommended to service in the industry. Optical Dispenser in Melbourne VIC

Note this company does not care about its employees
OPSM is owned by Luxottica and I can tell you they don't give hoot about you. Expect to get your pay cut and JobKeeper illegally deducted (yes, they will tax you twice as much so they can keep the money to themself! you need up receiving $1144 while the rest of the world receiving $1308). HR& head office wont even be bothered to reply your email once and Payroll is based overseas and refuse to do anything despite the fact they are well aware of the situation. Thousands of OPSM workers been affected, people's live are depending on those yet no one at the company gives a F. Avoid OPSM, Avoid Luxottica AT ALL COST. Optometrist in Sydney NSW

managers have no optical background
Bullying culture,if you go out for drinks you get ahead otherwise you get transferred.
I was advised to take them to court . Very unhappy toxic non professional managers who bully optometrists to do it all ,senior dispensers who gossip all day and report back to the bully managerWhat would you say about your employer?
