No shifts for casual

Shifts cut from multiple times a month to being lucky to get one 3 hour shift a month. Manager clearly has favourites and complains about being short-staffed yet does not bother rostering more casuals with availability. Shift hours also cut from around 5-6 hours to 3 hours. The higher ups only care about saving money.

Worst place for work

don't bother, bad upper management, and they wonder why the turnover is so high. no optom wants to work here to half the time there are no optoms in store. just go to speccies

Good Teams Bad Job

If you get the right team you might still have fun at your job day to day but the management and expectations are ridiculous. If you prove you can do something once even if it was a stroke of luck then you get to do that forever. Started out great as a casual but the workload from a casual to eventually being a manager is incomparable workload and not enough pay. They supposedly do check ins twice...

They do not appreciate what you do

Worst job ever, never been with such a bad company. Head office is non existent, does not care about staffs well being, all they care about are the numbers and conversion rate. Every staff in store is struggling and one nearly got depression. Lots of people complain about Specsavers but really, if you have worked for OW then you'd think specsavers is heaven.

Excellent work place
