The lying, scheming and backstabbing is a start. If your senior doesn’t like you, you’re lost or gotten rid of. They use and abuse. You are only there for their benefit, although told it’s for yours. Long hours, heavy lifting, unachievable goals and tasks. The staff, the face of the company are abused on a daily basis and never supported by management. I worked for the company and know first hand, I witnessed the treatment of fellow team members and was subjected personally to this cruel and malicious torment from my management whom I was told, with smiles, that I would be supported. Not a place for confidence or growth.
Worst company i'be ever worked for! They expect management to operate a store on a minimal budget. One week they will give you 30 hours but then the next you will only get 15 if you are a good worker. They don't care that you have bills to pay. You are expected to do soo many jobs during your shift in between serving and you are the only person on and getting paid $10.50 an hr! You are expected to do coffees, Wendy's, lotto etc on your own on a busy Saturday night and they refuse to put extra staff on because it would cost too much. They have very high expectations of you and you work in a very stressful, fast paced environment but don't get rewarded financially. They don't pay penalty rates. The store managers often work 7 days a week and this company does not believe in having a healthy work/life balance!
