You're worked extremely hard for bottom of the barrel pay and incentives. Pay is ridiculously low just because we are employed under OTR. If you're seeking a job in fast food, do it in a standalone franchise, not through OTR. Management treats you like absolute garbage and is extremely manipulative and two faced. They treat you like gold at the interview but do not be deceived. Favouritism is also at large, so unless you are buddy buddy with the management don't expect much. The only positive is that you might make some friends.

Not recommended work for there. The worst workplace in my life. with really cheap people like Peregrine. Even the rates are really less and store management are really poor to manage their workers. They used us until they find people to fill their regional store in Ceduna. So don't waste your time with really cheap people like Peregrine.

Too many chiefs, not enough Indians. Operations Manager is nothing but a bully. Work your butt off with no incentives. Culture boils down to, if you work hard you get hours but if you don't barely get any hours and they wonder why they can't hold onto Staff. The only enjoyable part of the job was the Customers. Health and Saftey on the Fuel side of the business is very bad, but appearance of the Shop is critical. In the near future someone will be killed at work and then they MIGHT fix it, if you are lucky. If you are going to run a Fuel Business take a leaf out of BP Australia's book because you guys have no idea. Fuel and food should never cross over...

Not the best job, the hours are ridiculous, (i work 5am-2pm) because it is a 24/7 company. People are really dodgy to work with, the management changes consistently and we are paid the minimum wage. I've sadly worked here for 3 years as I can't find another job.

Running around like a headless chook all day. No systems, structure or performance to drive improvement. Its like a revolving door, people coming and going non stop within 3-6 months. Stability is poor, work demand is just crazy and the lack of pay is ridiculous, but demand is extremely high. The pressure to perform is insane and overall the company is not interested in you as a person, but only looking to see how big the business can grow. The directors need to complete an inside business review, and see what people and employees really do and how they are treated.

My review that it offers a great work place with a friendly work environment that assists the trainee as well giving advice on work/employee development opportunities. I would recommend to anyone looking to establish a retail career that there is a great work ethic and a fair group of employers that will help you reach your goal.

Store Managers, Area Managers, Higher Management, even the company's owners/directors could not give a rat's a#$e about the staff. All I can say is, stay away from any job's advertised with this company

Worst company i'be ever worked for! They expect management to operate a store on a minimal budget. One week they will give you 30 hours but then the next you will only get 15 if you are a good worker. They don't care that you have bills to pay. You are expected to do soo many jobs during your shift in between serving and you are the only person on and getting paid $10.50 an hr! You are expected to do coffees, Wendy's, lotto etc on your own on a busy Saturday night and they refuse to put extra staff on because it would cost too much. They have very high expectations of you and you work in a very stressful, fast paced environment but don't get rewarded financially. They don't pay penalty rates. The store managers often work 7 days a week and this company does not believe in having a healthy work/life balance!

Worst company I've ever worked for, terrible pay, not enough hours but they are stretched over 6 days so never get a home life, good if you are one of their favourites otherwise don't even bother, people in head office don't care, hazards everywhere due to being over stocked even when you ask for less you get told too bad, high staff turn over, minimal to no training then get slammed for doing something the wrong way, no praise for going above & beyond, no communication you always hear stuff through a third party, & plenty more

Serving customers at the sales counter. Handling eftpos and cash management at the front counter. Offering face to face advice to customers on the stores products. Interacting with different customers with different mindsets. Different ways to help them. Management was excellent with great team. Hardest Part of the job was doing too many things at the same time without any assistance. The most enjoyable part was the work culture.

OTR was my first job out of school, it was a great start to working life, I worked my way to a manager within 12 months and was provided training and excellent staff to work with. Only left because I took a interest within coffee service and moved to a café

on call 24/7, even on days off. work more hours for same pay, get NO rewards . Management expected to do double shifts if no one else can work .NO support from company when I was bullied. They don't look after their staff and pay minimal wages and therefore have a very high turn over of staff members.
