Unrealistic expectations from management

Your direct management definitely shapes whether you have a good or bad experience in this company. Team and discount are great, but expectations from management are high and can be unreasonable

Don’t even bother

Super toxic work place. Upper management are passive aggressive and often make you feel guilty for not being able to make targets and kpi goals. The pay is below average and getting underpaid is common.

Fun, but not supportive

Not enough training. Expected to cover other roles but not supported to meet all targets. Too much non-sales work left to only a few people which is not a fair workload balance

Fun workplace, good opportunity to gain experience

I thoroughly enjoyed my time working with plat and it was a good opportunity for me to build my confidence and gain experience in operations, leading teams, customer service etc. It can be a great job if you have a good team and supportive store managers. However, there is a high turnover in staff & management, they can be very strict on KPI’s and there can be very few shifts available in slow periods as a casual (they cancel shifts last minute if not enough money is being made throughout a week). Upper management can also be questionable at times. I must say, I have been fortunate to have had some great team members and have made life long friends !
