A typical day at work was dealing with clashes of over expanded egos and incompetent management. Unless a member of the union, an employee was victimised and threatened with violence and dismissal, and if the threats were reported management would make life very hard for an employee. The hardest part of the job was the people to work with and the most enjoyable part was a nine day fortnight. The workplace culture was poisonous, and management continue to push employees to be less productive so as to be able to wok on Saturdays for overtime rates
