Non-developer company advertises developer jobs
Associate Database Developer (Former Employee) – Quincy, MA – 25 February 2019
There is no coding involved in this company. If you are a developer looking to work in software development, this is NOT the company for you. Premier uses outdated Oracle software with some of the worst bugs and user experience I've seen across all software. Was hired as a "database developer." That changed to "database builder" once my job began, even though my cubicle tag said "developer." I was brought onto a project that "urgently needed talent" along with another new hire but then our client's bureaucracy meant that most days we had little to do, and what did need to be done could only be done by one person. Office atmosphere is deathly silent - this is a 50-100 person office populated by 25 people. In conclusion, I have never seen a job and office more closely resemble a room temperature glass of skim milk.
Pay was adequate, plenty of time to develop skills in Hearthstone
Nothing to do, borderline bait and switch position, no software development
