Great people in the workplace. Bad management.
Supervisor (Current Employee) - Melbourne VIC - 11 May 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedYou’ll find the best team here, although management in the store generally is bad. No communication, not nice, no progression in your career. Base pay but you’re doing so much more for less. Wouldn’t recommend, maybe as a first job.

Fun place, great team to work with
Pharmacy Assistant (Current Employee) - Orange NSW - 12 June 2018
Typical day was very fun, relaxed and easy going.
I had a good team and a strong bond, was able to work together very well.
Can be hard work with sales, unpacking stock, changing ticketing and keeping up to date with trends.
Overall it was a good environment to be in and I gained a lot of experience in retail and management there
Pros
Staff discounts and training on products
Cons
Hard work at times

Hard slog
Dispensary technician (Former Employee) - Canberra ACT - 19 April 2018
I feel my experience is not true of all Pricelines. Hard work. Minimal reward. Great responsibilty. No gratitude or support. Workplace bullying. Though you will learn alot if you throw yourself into learning and your knowledge will be put into practice based on my experience.

Held together by employees
Retail Sales Assistant (Former Employee) - Bundaberg QLD - 20 February 2018
Altogether a great place to work, if the manager likes you, does not openly give helpful critiques and then gets mad when you do not improve. Would reccomend caution when applying

fun workplace, good vibe most of the time, great first job.
Casual Sales Assistant (Former Employee) - Whitfords Beach WA - 18 February 2018
being the victim of workplace bullying was one of the reasons i am no longer working there.
Yet it was a great work family with all different bonds and connections.
makeup and beauty was my passion so i thoroughly enjoyed what i was doing when i had the chance.
Unfair work as i had been working there for almost 2 years and people who had worked less that me were getting promotions
i wasnt getting all the benefits and shifts, opportunities and training i should have gotten.
The pay was amazing
Managers were a little unorganised but very welcoming and friendly.
Pros
gifts, use of some products, pay benefits
Cons
not enough hours, unfair work, biased to the employees

Enjoyed my time at Priceline
Pharmacy & Sales Assistant (Current Employee) - Ballina NSW - 31 January 2018
Great bunch of girls to work with and a well organised store helps reduce customer complaints and makes for a lovely workplace culture. Typical day includes: either register (customer interaction) putting stock out (customer service). Management I've had no issue with.

Jobs at Priceline Australia
Fun workplace, Smiles and keeping store intact and helping customers
Pharmacy Assistant (Current Employee) - Clemton Park NSW - 20 January 2018
There is 3 words that describe a typical day at work, fun, hardworking and busy. Throughout my entire day I would be constantly be helping customers, walking around the store asking customers if they need a hand and to come and grab me if they have a question. Other than helping customers, when the store is quiet I would be checking the list of things to do around the store, and firstly asking the pharmacist working at the time if there was any task that needed to be done that day? Most days when I am working there I usually learn one or two new things I hadn't known to do before. For example, I learnt recently how to make the big promotion tickets! The management of store is great and we maintain the store in great shape. The hardest part of the job would be...probably nothing. I enjoy working at Priceline, I've formed great friendships with my customers and have many regulars coming into to ask for more advice. I think the most enjoyable part of the job would be succeeding in helping a customer. When a customer leaves the store, knowing that they have left with a smile on their face and a fulfilling experience is the best feeling I could every ask for.
Pros
Meet new people, bring smiles to customers
Cons
No cons.

I have worked at Priceline for 6 years now for different owners. It is obviously easier at some stores then others. Its usually constantly a busy store.

- Meeting new customers
- Working with new products
- Building rapport with customers
Cons - Management/owners can be hard
- You get put on shifts not in your workplace agreement and are expected to do the shift
- Minimum wage
- Have to seek most knowledge yourself
- Expected to assist in areas that are not your department

Great place to work

At Priceline you are always learning and the staff onlt too happy to help new staff. Management are happpy for employees to educate and advance themselves if they wish to do so. The best part of the job is seeing customers happy and pleased with their purchases when they leave the store
Pros

Cons
Hours can be long

Good company to work for.
Sales Assistant (Former Employee) - Knox City Centre VIC - 25 October 2017
A lot of running around working stock and assisting customers. Management and workplace culture is very different from store to store, as different managers have different ways of doing things. Most enjoyable part of the job to me was serving the customers and merchandising.
Pros
Good work environment
Cons
Pay rate

Amazing brand. Great as a starting job or a long-term career.
Pharmacy Assistant, Retail Assistant (Current Employee) - Bowral NSW - 24 October 2017
Gotta love Priceline. The motto says it all. Not only do they cater to every need as a consumer but they really take care of their staff. Cannot complain. I've been there for 5 years and have never had any trouble. All levels of staff are nice and respectful and they have sooo many opportunities for growth and development for their staff.
Pros
Staff discount and sisterclub card!!!
Cons
Doesn't feel like a job.

Vibrant, ever changing enviroment.
Beauty Therapist / Cosmetician (Former Employee) - Hamilton NSW - 27 August 2017
No typical day at work was the same for me in my role. I was beauty therapist, Cosmetician, Cosmetic stock contol and management aswel as a general retail assistant. It taught me to adapt well to change, it taught all staff to work well as a team during catalogue set ups and pull downs and also the odd two day tactical promotional events. I did enjoy the ever changing promo's and constant knowledge that the company provided.
Cons
Under paid industry

Flexible work place family friendly environment
Pharmacy Assistant (Current Employee) - Ballarat VIC - 16 August 2017
Each day is different at work I have diversity and opportunity to grow, I like being put in situations where I can learn something new.
Hardest part would only be re structure stock plans to fit areas that there isnt room. Management is always family friendly and understanding of my children's needs, and we have a laugh at work after all if your there over 6 hours a day 5 days a week you have to enjoy your job .
