Great people in the workplace. Bad management.
Supervisor (Current Employee) - Melbourne VIC - 11 May 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedYou’ll find the best team here, although management in the store generally is bad. No communication, not nice, no progression in your career. Base pay but you’re doing so much more for less. Wouldn’t recommend, maybe as a first job.

Friendly and fast paced place to work
Sales Assistant (Former Employee) - Chermside QLD 4032 - 2 August 2017
I really enjoyed working at Priceline, it is very similar to the store Superdrug here. All the girls and management team were very lovely and genuinely enjoy going back to visit all the girls I used to work with.

fast paced environment.
PHARMACY ASSISTANT (Former Employee) - Bribie Island QLD - 13 July 2017
Work is always scrambling busy, customers always complain.
You cannot please everyone.
Management are money hungry owners.
Workplace culture is good.
Hardest part of the job was not knowing what mood the owner was in when you turned up for work.
Best part of the job was my fellow team members were bright happy and team players.

Warm friendly workplace
Beauty Advisor (Current Employee) - Perth WA - 6 June 2017
It really is like becoming part of a family.
It is such a shame that upper management in the eastern states have no idea and constantly change things for no reason and make it very difficult for us to run the store.
Pros
Wonderful friendly colleagues and customers
Cons
Short staffed, high volume of theft

Loved the people I worked with they were all really friendly but the management was not the best... I felt welcomed by the other staff but the shifts get boring when there isn't much to do.

what I experienced at Priceline
Sales Assistant (Former Employee) - Bundaberg QLD - 8 April 2017
the communication between management and other staff was very poor. They didn't make the most of the staff that they had and left everything till the last minuet. The culture in the workplace was very good but because most of the employees there are girls there can be some disagreements. The hardest part of my job would be trying to get my sales up what I only worked there for a few days a week. The most enjoyable part of my job there was working with skin care and makeup because they are a passion of mine.
Pros
10% off everything in store
Cons
Didn't give me enough information to do the job I was made to do.

Great place to work.
Sales Assistant (Former Employee) - Cronulla NSW - 31 March 2017
Love working here, love the other staff, love the discount and love the flexibility. It's not a hard job, easy money.
Hardest part can be management but that varies from store to store.

Comfortable and Secure Job
Pharmacy Assistant (Current Employee) - Bonnyrigg NSW - 14 January 2017
Working for Priceline Pharmacy is a very demanding job, in terms of day to day work such as; Interacting with customers and dealing appropriately with difficult ones, having a working knowledge of the dispensary and dispensing systems and getting through long days on your feet. The overall management of the store is very highly rated as customer satisfaction is always the priority.
Pros
Great team

Long days standing

Unjust management with poor employee benefits, great focus on customer service
Junior Pharmacy Assistant (Former Employee) - Port Macquarie NSW - 1 August 2016
My favourite part of the job was definitely serving customers and making sure they they left one hundred percent happy. I love to be efficient and fast and do things to the best of my ability this job did not push my limits. All employees were treated differently based on who they were as a person not their work habits or efforts. We as employees were forced to work harder and gained no more benefits despite being told how much more money we had been making for the owner.
Pros
Christmas gift bags
Cons
Unfair management

Its a happy and loving place to work.
Sales Assistant (Current Employee) - Perth WA - 26 June 2016
A normal day is putting out stock & customer serves
I have learned a lot about different make-up and skin care brands and what they are used for and who should us them.
The management is good but there can always be improvements within little things.
My co-workers are the best thing about going to work, they're always there for you and you can always rely on them.
There's nothing relay hard about working at Priceline, some customers can be hard to deal with at times but that's in every job you work at.
I love getting in new products and knowing about them before the people of the public.
Pros
long lunches
Cons
not full-time, salary, not long hours
