Productive and fun place
Sales Assistant (Former Employee) - Carlton VIC - 28 July 2023
Productive and fun places. People are friendly Their culture is so amazing The nature of the job is very independent as results lie solely on the individual and their attitude and mental strength to keep pushing on to achieve better results.

Poor Management, high targets, low job security
Sales Associate (Former Employee) - Carlton - 22 February 2023
Managers were young and more focused on making money than training you. I was told i was dead weight. If you don't meet your targets one week you will be told pick it up or else. There was little to no care for out of work situations. I needed 1 week off (hadn't taken a single day off) and was told i would have to leave or risk being fired. Interview really focuses on the pay however, it is highly unlikely you will make the monney advertised since you need to be a team manager to even get close. The hours they advertise are also wrong. I was working from about 10am to getting back to the office at 8pm to end the day but was only paid a base of $100 per day.
Pros
Camaraderie within teams
Cons
Long hours (well over what they tell you in the interview), job security, work life balance, pay, management, training, steep targets

Great place to work, amazing money to be made
Manager (Current Employee) - Carlton VIC - 21 July 2022
I have worked at prism for a long time now, I have made life changing money. The products on offer are easy to create leads for. I would recommend that if you need work give this job a go. I have not looked back since taking the job.

Appointment setter
Appointment Setter / Solar Sales. (Former Employee) - Melbourne VIC - 25 October 2019
Job was ok staff were fine it just wasn't the job for me. I was walking door to door booking Solar appointments in summer. It was difficult and a lot of exercise.

fun culture, need to be the right person
Sales Representative (Former Employee) - Melbourne VIC - 15 September 2019
while it is entirely possible to earn a decent wage if you are motivated and have the gift of the gab, it is not suitable for all people. if you are fit and have excellent motivation this is a position you may enjoy

Fun workplace with table tennis, basketball hoops etc
Door to Door Marketing (Former Employee) - South Melbourne VIC - 19 December 2017
An interesting experience with a good workplace culture, however working 6 hours door knocking in 30+ heat all day without being able to carry around any food, spending lots of time travelling, and having many people being rude to you for a possibility of earning lots of money? And when half the work is out of our control? Not for me.
Best of luck to any to opt to give it a go.
Cons
Commission only, big money is on the sale which the door knocker has no control over, lots of travel time

Door to door sales addressing Victorian energy solutions.
Sales Representative (Former Employee) - Melbourne VIC - 1 September 2017
We provide door to door energy assessments to provide viable solutions to customer based on their financial standings and electrical consumption. An exceptional set of sales skill is crucial in order to strive in this field and that is what this job had aided me in developing and it shall aid me in my future endeavors. The nature of the job is very independent as results lie solely on the individual and their attitude and mental strength to keep pushing on to achieve better results. The hardest part about the job was that as it was essentially a door to door job the weather was sometimes unkind but other than that it was a really fun job. The people were all very friendly and welcoming.
Pros
Fun
Cons
weather

Appointment Setter
Appointment Setter (Former Employee) - South Melbourne VIC - 22 August 2017
working for a decent time for this company, claims to pay you 1200 a week. not telling you that their Seen rate is at 30%, you may book 25 leads a week, working hard door knocking from 12pm to 8pm 5 days a week to find only 3 customers sat down for a consultation, finding out that we wont be getting paid because the customer changed there mind or didn't make it home on time, most weeks you work 40hrs for not even base wage of 400 a week, 40hrs for 400???
Pros
Awards night, free bar tab
Cons
Long hours, little pay and disrespect from upper managment
