Your just expected to sit on the phone and take the abuse your not allowed to do anything the management I experienced were horrible

Indeed Featured review

Management are rude, training staff were heard speaking badly about my training group and they say flexible hours but that's only if ur able to swap shifts otherwise your expected to work and the shifts rotate, so one week you work 7-3pm then 9-5pm then 3-10pm.

Terrible. Hated everyday. Soul crushing

If getting a new job was an Olympic sport, this place would be the gun the echos through an empty stadium. Management likes to sit you in a room and hounds you until you cry.

Inadequate training, and no support.

The training was inadequate, and no support was given. Management expectations were high (KPI's) and the wage was exceptionally low. The worst place I have ever worked.

Pros

Nil

Cons

Too many to list

If you need a job, chances are you will be hired, just don't expect great pay or culture

Probe are always hiring because they do not look for quality staff, management is unrealistic and unorganised and expectations will change on a daily basis.

Pros

Wfh

Cons

everything else

Soul Crushing

Lack of any advancement opportunities, lack of any proper training, toxic workplace culture instilled in the business from the top down, paid very little and expected to give your all for a company that won’t meet you halfway

Fun but still not happy. They have more seriousness in fun days than doing actually work

Communication is not the best. Delivery of communication is only written. Quality work is when it’s discussed face to face but any tips or changes is only through email and it is expected to be read while we are on phones. So rushing to check emails is how it is. Training was not enough for the work associated. Other then that they have a lot of Days to celebrate National Days and dress up events.

No work life balance

Employee centricity is unknown and there's wok life balance. Long hours with no support structure and process enhancement. No employee survey is done to understand the pain points and improve. People are not motivated and do not wish to work.

Pros

None

Cons

No work life balance

Fast paced and stressful

No room for error or improvement/practice. Would recommend to people who are skilled in call centre work, able to tolerate some hard to assist clients on the phone and have strong performance i.e. KPIs. Needs to be more supportive.

Pros

Most of the team members are great

Cons

Feels like interrogation by upper management

Helping tougher

Simple super and no partiality, everyone in the group helps each other if they got stuck with any. Some time people are free they get together in the weekend when they are free.

Something to hold onto while you think of your next step in your career

Somewhere you can earn money to keep you going until you got enough to pursue other careers. Customer service isn't something you'd do for enjoyment. Sometimes you don't even have the answers to give the frustrated callers (whom I wouldn't blame) because the stuff ups are coming from above, way beyond your control. Sometimes you feel embarrassed making excuses for the poor service callers receive when you know there's something wrong with the processes.

Pros

Awesome colleagues and direct supervisors, chill working environment

Cons

Lack of support from management or communication, rude callers, not much growth

Would not recommend

Not a nice place to work. Not enough support for staff. Get in trouble if you take to many toilet breaks. The place is a joke but are some lovely people.

Pros

Free lunch days

Cons

Unrealistic expectations

Terribly managed

In three weeks I met my manager once, went up on the phones only to find that my phone wasn’t plugged in and it took 30 minutes to get the issue fixed. Felt thrown into the deep end by insufficient training and support.

Pros

Easy to quit

Cons

Poor training and management

The role is to have knowledge of ongoing changes, policies and procedures to assist callers with services in their daily lives

This role is demanding, but also entails leaning new processes, policies and procedures that assist and support everyday caller with querys and services to help them in their daily lives

Great opportunity to start with and build on. The only disappointment is the pay. But overall it was great fun with great fellow colleagues. Highly reccomended.

Paid Peanuts

Very low salary compared to other similar roles in the industry. Minimal training (4 weeks) for a complex job using complex systems… Do not recommend working here unless desperate. No pay increases

Pros

Wfh, friendly colleagues

Cons

Unfair wages

Terrible company, avoid at all costs

Poorly run, nepotism is rife and management thrive on rumours and causing drama. Staff highly unskilled and unprofessional and the recruitment process is non existent. If you desperately need a short term job it’s fine but don’t hang around longer than you have to

I enjoyed my time there.

The work was easy. The life balance was incredible. There was no need to learn outside work hours. Incredible support staff. I enjoyed my time at Probe.
