Extremely unprofessional and unorganised
Care worker (Former Employee) - Illawarra NSW - 2 February 2023
Extremely unprofessional, higher management have no idea what they are doing. No support for field staff just unrealistic expectations. Majority is domestic cleaning. Lots of driving. Ridiculous turn over in staff. Excessive paperwork to do as they are so far behind where it should be done on a app. You have no idea when you start or finish or where your working until late afternoon the day before. Customers extremely disappointed with services due to changes or no shows. I wouldn't recommend working for them or getting any services provided by then to my worst enemy.
Pros
Beautiful clients
Cons
Long days, lots of cleaning, rubbish management

Lovely clients but management useless

Beautiful clients but management have no idea what they are doing. Lots of un necessary paperwork way behind in technology where handover should be on an app. Higher management have their heads up their backsides
Pros
Bad from first service through to last service even if you have a gap
Cons
Paperwork, alot of cleaning, high management have no idea

You know your timetable, and pay process is very efficient
Personal Carer (Current Employee) - Melbourne VIC - 30 August 2021
I am a bit disappointed that my weekly hours, considering Covid, have dropped to only 10hours. I'd like to work at least double that, but that is not a fault of Programmed. Some clients broke their hips or passed away...beyond Programmed's control. Great system that you get a text 2pm each afternoon reminds you of the shifts for the next day. The pay rate is very fair, and my 4 hours weekend work really helps pay the rent. I have meant some amazing clients that have inspired me with their positive attitude, and life-long ambitions.
Pros
Excellent timetable/record-keeping.
Cons
I wish I could be allocated some more hours.

Official response from Programmed Health Professionals
1 September 2021Thank you for taking the time to provide your review. Unfortunately, it's hard to predict what services our clients will request during these challenging times. We are hopeful clients will be booking additional shifts as more of the population becomes vaccinated, and our clients feel comfortable heading into the community. Please ensure you provide the team with your most up-to-date availability to ensure you are contacted for relevant shifts.

Registered Nurse (Current Employee) - Brisbane QLD - 31 March 2020
Being an RN working with nursing agency
PHP, number of hours worked depends on the available shifts as requested by hospitals or any health facilities contracted with the agency.
