Mostly a good place to work
Administrative Assistant (Current Employee) - Perth WA - 29 January 2023
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedGood culture, supportive teams, opportunities for career progression but they pay a very low salary and the business systems and processes in place make it hard to work effectively

The place is terrible to work. Missing Pay and they give their friends shift and if you complain you get no shifts.
MPF worker (Former Employee) - Sunshine VIC - 14 September 2023
The place is terrible to work gor. Missing Pay and they give their friends shifts while you get nothing. I have been told they are looking for more shifts for me while others are being placed in places to get more work.

Good environment to work in. I learnt something new each day.
T/A Labourer (Former Employee) - Gladstone QLD - 30 May 2023
I no longer work for programmed, but my time with them was very rewarding. I'd like to work for them again in the near future. I was in a bit of a rut finding work, so I called into the Gladstone office, they hired me as a trades assistant for shutdown work, cement Australia was the first job, it took 1month to finish that job, then out to the power station in Biloela for 3weeks, then Orica in Gladstone for 3weeks, I enjoyed all of it, especially pay days, that made the long hours worth it.
Pros
Getting paid good coin for my work.
Cons
12 hour nightshift took a few days to get used to, but after that it was full steam ahead.

Great First Agency
Order Selector (Current Employee) - Larapinta QLD - 30 March 2023
Very professional, with the app it’s easy to assign your availability as a casual and a well designed UI to navigate your roster and payslips. They’re also very understanding and not pushy at all with picking up extra shifts and cancellations.
Pros
Great App
Cons
Shift Cancellations on late notice sometimes

Worst job agency
Picker/Packer (Former Employee) - Port Melbourne VIC - 2 March 2023
There was no formal interview started job a few day after I applied for the position… got my roster for the week (5days) only to have some cancelled… then my shift got canceled just under 4 hr before I was meant to start. No communication with any of the staff… not happy

Terrible. It was a terrible experience.
Facility Manager (Former Employee) - Perth WA - 15 February 2023
The processes and systems are well past their used by date and make it very difficult to do a good job. Narcissistic and toxic upper management who do not understand, nor seek to understand, the real issues.
Pros
There was fruit in the office
Cons
Too many to list

BHP Eastern Ridge
Fixed Plant Operator (Former Employee) - Pilbara WA - 7 October 2022
As a mobile & fixed plant operator my job was predominantly feeding the crusher operating CAT 992's. The BHP crew at Eastern Ridge were great to work with and showed me around the facility and how things operated. Unfortunately there was zero chance of ever securing a full-time job with BHP. I would certainly work there again in the future.

Poor Organisation of workers and information given to employees
Process Worker - Casual/Temp (Nestle Purina) (Former Employee) - Blayney NSW - 3 September 2022
Went for an interview, wasn't aware or informed that Programmed advertising the position, meant that they would be your employer and basically subcontract you out to other companies. Poor communication with employees once start job, regardless of what company you are put with. Start at a place and are left for dead pretty much. Basics of who your supervisors are were not clearly provided and you are left to find most information out alone. Good pay depending on position. Lack of life/work balance, always expected to be available even if you applied for a casual low hr position. Management of employees is a mess. You have to talk to the right person to get anywhere and you have to find that person first.
