Senior Associate (Former Employee) –  McLean, VA7 August 2019
Some of the smartest people I know. Bonuses begin based gets distributed such that someone has to be at the bottom ...typical of large companies but many employees are usually left unhappy.

I was with the FSR (Financial Market) group and it is a fairly niche group. Definitely learned a lot but also very challenging. Overall it is beneficial for people who want to truly learn stuff.

I've been working for PwC for more than 3 years. One is for sure - you will never have enough time to do something. But on the other hand you can learn a lot!
Before joining I had seen a poster "One year in PwC equals two years of experience in other companies".
I agree with that! But it's all due to the amount of you that you have.

As one of the Big Four public accounting firms, PwC is a great place to build your career from scratch. Challenging environment both mentally and physically and you do learn a lot in this environment with many other over-achiever. After 2-3 years, more than half of the employees choose to quit due to the lack of work-life balance etc.

busy season
Senior Associate (Former Employee) –  New York, NY13 July 2019
Busy season is pretty busy and although you are expected to work minimum 55 hours a week it is much more than that. Pretty good work life balance outside busy season but busy season more than makes up for it.

Great for advancement. However, politics plays a big part. It's what you make of it. If you cherish work/life balance you have to hope you get booked with a good boss. Mostly it's luck.

Senior Associate (Current Employee) –  Nicosia6 July 2019
Salary is enough for life, but job is very boring if you do not know the Greek language. Without Greek language you have the only option to work with small or dormant entities which came here to minimise tax payments
