Staff travel and mateship.

Leadership from my Managers in the area I worked under was what I strived to achieve for myself. Colleagues were the best part of your working day. Staff Travel benefits were good, but as the years have gone on, it’s not what it used to be. Salary was good for my job title.The operational side of being part of an airport team, is an adrenaline rush.

Ups and downs

Mostly enjoyable due to colleagues. A lot of standing required and marshalling of aircraft. Most staff want to provide excellent customer service however hands are tied. In saying that, a lot of rude horrible pax but the decent ones do make up for it. Staff travel ok but not what it used to be. Have to work weekends and penalty shifts to get a decent wage. It used to be great

I was with the company for 26 yrs until Covid I do miss all my friends that I worked with, however things change. Expectations are high and I gave it my all.
