Great place to work

I have been in QANTAS for 13 years but my time is coming to end to move onto bigger things. I have enjoyed almost all of my time here at QANTAS and they are are like family to me which is why I chose QANTAS over the other offer I was offered at the same time when I had to make a choice,

Completing multiple tasks and schedules for managers and EM. Dealing with questions from over 200 staff in the people group team Completing requests on order of priority/urgency Dealing with all level of management, staff and skill levels Hardest part of the job is saying no to items that I know will stop me from completing & focus on manger work working with a great boss/team and company!

Job security and rewarding career

Technically interesting and demanding job as pilot with fantastic conditions. Travel to interesting cities with often plenty of time in port for local sightseeing.

Strong iconic Australian brand

Being a cabin crew member, you need to have a passion for being with people and an ability to excel in customer service. I take pride in being one of the many faces of Qantas Airways. Each day is different as I meet new people, which can include the crew I work with. The flight attendant role is fast paced during boarding and service, and can be quite and restful other times. The most difficult part of my job is having constant jet lag. The most enjoyable side of my job is travelling to new destinations and experiencing new cultures and food.

A fast paced, challenging and rewarding role.

I manage a large team of Flight Attendants and the Inflight Customer Experience. No two days in my role are the same. Every flight brings a new challenge, whether it be Operational, Customer or Crew related. I enjoy constantly being challenged and collaboratively working with my team members to come up with a solution that ultimately benefits the customer!

As a flight attendant no work day is the same. You get to speak to hundreds of people a every day which i love. Managing on time performance can be hard.

Qantas is a fantastic place to work with excellent work balance culture.

Working for Qantas is an extremely rewarding and highly satisfying job. Having the opportunity to create rapport and connect with all different types of people, nationalities and cultures for me, is extremely rewarding. I enjoy caring for our passengers ensuring their flight is enjoyable and memorable. My number one priority is maintaining our safety standards whilst looking after our customers requirements on all levels.

Amazing job with ample job opportunities within the company

Love this job as everyday at work is different and always get to provide a service to a customer. There are great benefits and the chance to travel and also move within the Qantas group to other departments.

Fun energetic environment, fast paced

This is the type of job that goes from zero to 100 in a matter of minutes. Face-to-face customer service that can be very rewarding and stressful at the same time. It's like being in another world

You felt like part of a team with ownership

I spent 28 year at this company and not once did i regret waking in the morning and going to work. You were made to feel as a valued member of an organization and every time i saw an aircraft fly with the famous red tail and the white flying Roo it gave me a sense of ownership.

Maintaining a professional standard at all times. Ensuring safety procedures are carried out correctly at all times.

Loved the knowledge attained from this line of work. This job was very challenging and tested every element of expertise. The culture was very friendly and equal. Always excited to go to work and the customers wellbeing was always priority. Miss working here was my best employment ever!

Egalitarian, friendly and professional with standards and procedures

Excellent hospitality industry. Onboard management of crew Communication link between ground services , tech crew and cabin crew and internal departments Managing onboard service, dealing with customers and become a communication link. Service recovery of customers. Solving problems on board be it i flight entertainment, setting issues, food requirement or special handling Healthy work culture, open communication , opportunity for training and up skilling . Clear career path direction . Challenges with working in different time zones . Challenges of delays , disruptions to flight schedules due to various reasons
